Description

DAP is a 60 minute intensive training for all those working on a licensed premises.

Extensive research has been carried out in association with a select development group including pub and club managers, drug task force representatives, members of Garda drug units, legal experts and reformed drug users. The programme is endorsed by the Licensed Vintners Federation, the Vintners Federation of Ireland, the Irish Hotels Federation and the An Garda Siochana.

This is the first training programme of its kind to be endorsed by the Gardaí and the broad spectrum of the hospitality industry.

Objectives

This programme has been developed in direct response to industry needs and covers the law pertaining to the misuse of drugs, ensuring that venues are totally compliant with current legislation, as well as giving them industry best practice guidelines. Headings include;

  • Dealing with Drug Misuse/ Intervention

    CONDITIONS OF USE

    Registration Form and Payment

    To start the RSA Online Programme you must complete the course Payment Section and Enrolment Form and provide payment to RSA via the alcohol.ie website. As you will receive confirmation and your course login details via email you must provide a valid email address.

    Username and Password

    The username and password will only be issued to the course participant nominated on the Enrolment Form. Under no circumstances can another person activate or use the username and password.

    Refund and Cancellation policy

    Once you have provided payment, fees are then committed for the online course. Once payment is made and the username and login have been activated the course cannot be cancelled or refunded. For further information please enquire at info@alcohol.ie
    Your login details will be valid for 30 days from the date of issue. If the online course has not been completed within this time period your username and password will be disabled. You will need to contact the RSA Online Administration team (info@alcohol.ie) and ask for your login to be re-issued. This will incur a fee.

     Course Completion

    Where the customer has paid but not completed the online course, all efforts available will be used to inform the customer necessary information needed for completion. Trainers will be contactable via email for the customer’s assistance.

    Course information is provided on the following basis.

    You agree not to impersonate or represent any person other than the person on the Enrolment Form. All course assessments must be completed by the enrolled customer. Making false or misleading representations that you are another person or character is a criminal offence and can give rise to civil liability.
